Here come the Chocolate Bricks!

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

You’d never believe the excitement in our house every time a lorry drives onto the site - we can see it from our house and trucks generally arrive early in the morning before we head out.  Here, the blocks are delivered and the brickies get going…   wont be long now…

Yes, we’re off the ground now, with steel structure up and floor powerfloated… it’s incredible how much time was spent levelling this floor but, hey, who’s complaining… looking forward to rollerblading at some later date!!  I guess people would say ‘it’s incredible how long it takes to make a chocolate and how quickly it’s polished off!’.

Next step was foundation digging…
